The Lion. the Witch and the wardrobe
Hope Players present: a spectacular production of C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at the ADC Theatre, Cambridge, 17th – 20th December 2009
Entering a wardrobe 4 children discover Narnia, a land where it is always winter but never Christmas. Narnia is under the spell of the cruel White Witch, but some in Narnia dare to hope. They are waiting for an old prophecy to come true – that two sons of Adam and two daughters of Eve will become kings and queens and rule justly under the authority of Aslan, son of The Emperor of the Lone Isles. And there are rumours that Aslan is near, maybe already here...
Whether you are young, old or in between, enjoy the magic and spectacle of C.S. Lewis' story, adapted for the stage by Glyn Robbins, and take its message home with you for the Christmas season.
